FLIR
The employment of Thermal Image Cameras and Forward Looking Infra Reds in civil and military aviation is a part of daily business. SIMVISION offers an unique and cost-efective solution of Computer Based Training. FLIR operators have the possibility to train realistic FLIR operations, to improve their skills and to obtain their qualification.
The system consits of an instructor station and normally eight operator stations. The operator station includes a 1:1 replica or original part of required FLIR operation panel (see picture: Ultraforce 275C) and a PC system with LCD screen. The operator (student) learns how to locate and trace moving objects on ground (displayed in realistic terrain) during flight and how to differentiate them.
The instructor can choose between defined training sessions, follow operators training or switch to manual flight modus.
