Tactical Combat Simulator

The Tactical Combat Simulator "TASS 2" provides basic and advanced training for special forces and army units in full contact fight with live force and opponents combat vehicles. TASS 2 in high realism simulates effects of shooting on live targets so as well on moving vehicles. This type of training is designed for tactical combat units to analyse mistakes in tactical behavior and to archieve better results during real missions.

The units are equipped with laser emitors for hand guns, electronic vests for individuals, electronic targets for moving vehicles (cars, trucks, helicopters). The system is based on modern MKS technology, which makes possible the communication and exchange of information between the central control unit and the individual elements and members. This technology guarantees high reliability in data saving, data transfer and protection of saved data.

The Instructor of training can start tactical situations by preediting timing of targets or actively during the training compare to actual situation on the field.

TASS 2 components

The Central Unit is mobile electronic equipment, which is receiving different informations from each element of the sytem, shows their actual situation, eliminates elements out of the fight or getting them back. The Information from each element is saved, evaluated and graphically shown in the Central Unit.

The Laser Emitter emits an optical (laser) beam. Every emitter has its own unique identification code, by which it is recognized by the system and it identifies shooter and hit target. The 1. class laser provides maximum safety for users.

The Electronic Vest and Helmet detect hit by optical beam sent by opponents emitter. The vest evaluates and saves the number, time, location, sector of every hit. These informations are sent during or after training to the Central Unit for final evaluation. When hitted by opponent laser beam the trainee archieves sound signalization and spoken commentary.

There are two types of Electronic Targets. The active type receives hits and is able to simulate opponent shooting fire by laser emitter. The passive type receives hits only. The targets can be placed on real vehicles (cars, trucks, army vehicles), helicopters as well as mobile platforms. Analog to the Electronic Vests the targets save all necessary information for after training analysis.
